Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data dailycash collects, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. We’ve written it to be read, not skimmed past.

The short version

  • Today, the only personal data we collect on purpose is the email address you type into the waitlist form.
  • We use it to tell you when dailycash launches. Nothing else.
  • We don’t use analytics, advertising cookies or third-party trackers, and our fonts are hosted on our own domain.
  • We never sell personal data.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time: help@dailycash.fun.

Who we are

“dailycash”, “we” and “us” mean the team that runs dailycash.fun and the dailycash app. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist

  • Your email address.
  • A record that you joined next to our notice confirming you’re 18 or older and agree to the launch email.
  • The date and time you signed up.
  • Your approximate country, which our hosting provider works out from your IP address when you submit the form. We store the two-letter country code, not your IP address.
  • Which form you used, for example the home page or the docs, so we know where people find us.
  • A record of which version of the sign-up notice you saw.

When you visit the website

Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data to deliver pages and keep the service secure: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. These logs are kept for a short time and we don’t use them to identify or profile you.

When the app launches

The app will need more data to verify tasks and pay rewards. We’ll update this policy before launch, and the app will ask for each permission when a task first needs it. In short, we expect to process:

  • Account details: your email address.
  • Task data: your route and pace during an active walk or ride, step and motion data, timer data, and the proof photos you take. Location is only collected while a GPS task is running.
  • Payout data: the public Solana wallet address you choose and your reward history.
  • Device and fraud-prevention signals, such as an app instance identifier and whether location data looks simulated.

How we use it, and our legal bases

If you’re in the EU, EEA or UK, data protection law requires us to tell you the legal basis for each use.

PurposeDataLegal basis
Telling you when dailycash launchesEmail, sign-up date, country, form usedYour consent, which you can withdraw at any time
Keeping the website secure and workingTechnical log dataOur legitimate interest in running a secure service

Preventing fraud and abuse (app)Device and fraud-prevention signalsOur legitimate interest in fair rewards for everyone
Meeting legal obligationsRecords we must keep by lawLegal obligation

We don’t use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you without a person reviewing them. Fraud flags that hold a reward are reviewed by a person if you ask.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under contract:

  • Vercel Inc. hosts the website and stores the waitlist. The waitlist is processed and stored in Vercel’s Frankfurt, Germany region. Vercel is a US company, and its network serves web pages from locations worldwide.
  • An email delivery provider, when we send the launch email. We’ll name it here before we use it.

Once the app is live, reward partners only ever receive aggregated, anonymous statistics such as “walks completed this month”, never your personal data. We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect people’s safety or our users against fraud.

International transfers

The waitlist itself stays in the EU. Some of our providers may still process data outside the EU and EEA, including in the United States, for example to deliver web pages or handle support. When that happens we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Waitlist: until you ask us to remove you, or 12 months after we send the launch email, whichever comes first.
  • Website logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short time, generally no longer than 30 days.
  • App proof photos: deleted within 30 days of being verified.
  • App account and reward history: while your account is open, then as long as the law requires us to keep payment records.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your personal data (access and portability)
  • correct it (rectification)
  • delete it (erasure), including removing you from the waitlist
  • limit how we use it (restriction), or object to a use based on legitimate interest
  • stop using it where we rely on consent (withdraw consent)

Email help@dailycash.fun from the address you signed up with. We’ll answer within 30 days and don’t charge for this. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. The waitlist is kept in private storage that isn’t reachable from the web, and only authorised team members can open it, through a password-protected admin panel. No security measure is perfect, but we work to protect your data and will tell you and the authorities about a breach where the law requires it. To report a vulnerability, see security reports.

Children

dailycash is for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we’ll delete the entry.

Cookies and local storage

We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies. The site remembers your light or dark theme in your browser’s local storage, and only after you press the theme button. The full list is in our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it. If a change is significant, for example before the app launches, we’ll email everyone on the waitlist before it applies.
